Getting journal articles/books from other libraries (ILL)

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a free service for GPRC students, faculty and staff to request articles and books from other libraries. You have your own Interlibrary Loan account where you can place and keep track of your article/book requests. When your article/book arrives at the GPRC Library or Fairview Campus Library, you will receive an email message at your GPRC email account. You can then pick up your article/book at the Circulation Desk.

Journal Articles: Loan requests can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. Once you receive your article, it is yours to keep.

Books: Make sure the book is not available in another library in the NEOS catalogue. If it is, place a hold instead. Book requests through ILL usually take 1.5 - 2 weeks to arrive.

Distance Education Students - see specific instructions.

How to Log In to your account to Request an article/book

Go to your Interlibrary Loan account.

User Login = barcode on your library card - no B's (e.g. 1930001234567)

Password = last four digits of barcode on your library card (e.g. 4567)

NOTE: All Interlibrary Loan messages will come from the following email address: agpc@relaisill.com. Some email programs automatically filter this address, so check your junk mail folder periodically. You can also check the status of your requests by logging into your Interlibrary Loan account.
